Attestation of Manpower Demand Documents

Malaysian companies, proprietarship firms and individuals who have valid approvals for hiring foreign manpower can contact the embassy for attestation of manpower demand documents.

For the sake of clarity and transparency in the manpower deals, the companies and firms are encouraged to place demand directly with the registered Nepalese manpower agencies in Nepal without using the service of Malaysian agents.

The embassy attests the manpower-related documents in a specified format. While submitting the documents, please note the following points;

1. The documents must be signed by one of the directors mentioned in form 49 under Companies Act, 1965
    [Section 141(6)]. In case of sole-proprietorship or partnership firms, the documents must be signed by
    one of the partners mentioned in the Form D (Regulation 13) of Companies Commision of Malaysia. If
    the approval for foreign manpower is in the name of a person, the persons should present
    himself/herself for attestation of the documents.

2. The person carrying the documents should be authorized by the director or other authorized senior
    personnel in the company.

3. If the company already has Nepalese workers, make available one or two of them for enquiry by the
    embassy staff.

4. The embassy may need an inspection of the company's premises for a clearer view of the recruitment
    terms and conditions. Please facilitate such visits, especially when the size of the demand is more than
    fifty.

5. The embassy encourages the senior management personnel of the company to present himself/herself,
    rather than an appointed agent, for submission of the manpower demand document.
