About Ourselves
Nepal enjoys excellent relations with Malaysia. There is tremendous goodwill, cooperation and understanding between our two countries.
Malaysia has been attractive destination to Nepali youths for employment. After Nepal was opened as a source country by Malaysia few years back, increased number of Nepali workers are engaged in various sectors in Malaysia. At present, Nepal occupies the second largest country to supply foreign workers in Malaysia.
Besides foreign employment, promotion of trade, tourism and investment are other key areas which hold vast potential between Nepal and Malaysia.
The establishment of Nepal's residential mission in Kuala Lumpur in June 2003 is a testimony of ever expanding and deepening of bilateral relations between our two countries.
